Engineering Safety in Lorry Crane Operations Workshop

Lorry cranes are one of the most versatile lifting equipment in the world. Not only are they able to carry out lifting activities, but can be fitted with more than 50 different types of attachments for different loads. In Singapore alone, there are close to 300 different types of lorry cranes across different models. 2016 saw one of the highest number of lorry crane accidents in recent times. As lorry cranes become higher in capacity and the risk that operators take are increasing, it is good to step forward and take a look at how lorry crane operational safety can be “Engineered” An interactive workshop which will showcase recent accident case studies and look at a lorry crane operator’s role in a different perspective. Get a hands-on experience as well on how it feels like to be one!
